What to expect when coming to class
Show up early if this is your first class, there is a little bit of paper work that must be signed. It is traditional to bow before going on to the mats. Great the instructor. Let him know this is your first class. It is normal to be nervous but remember everyone before you started the same way. No one is there to hurt you, this can be a common fear for new students. We must respect every one of our training partners, with out them we can not get better. .
The instructor will ask everyone to line up, please do so quietly, once lined up you will show each other respect and bow. Class will then
start with a 15 -20 min warm up followed by 45mins of technique training followed by 45 mins of sparring.
Sparring (or rolling) is done in a safe and friendly environment giving students a chance to use their techniques they just learned in class.
If you have a question at anytime during class please put up your hand and the instructor will answer it to the best of his ability. The instructors are highly quailified professionals and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
